Take your grocery storage pantry to the next level...

Take the pantry concept a step further and find yourself an inexpensive energy efficient freezer. When the frozen items you use go on sale, buy then and put them in your spare freezer. You will never have to pay full price for steak, chicken, frozen french fries, etc...

There are numerous places to find that spare freezer including www.freecycle.org or your local want ads. Also, many stores discount freezers that are cosmetically damaged. A freezer that may have a small dent or scratch will work just as well as a brand new full priced freezer.

You may also be able to find a good deal on a used or new freezer on ebay. You can click freezers on ebay to see what may be availalbe. (Your best bet for a deal is to look for auctions ending on Monday morning.).

Finally, you can always bargain on large appliance prices, even at large nationwide department stores, much like you bargain for a car. Check out Consumer Reports at your local library for ideas on pricing.
